Clear answers about cue styles, iPhone’s built-in feature, membership and getting started.

What is NoMo – Motion Sickness?
NoMo is an iPhone app for passengers who want configurable visual motion cues. It offers Dots, Lines and Frame styles, Picture-in-Picture, Comfort Audio and display presets. Some features require an in-app purchase.
Does iPhone already have motion cues?
Yes. Apple includes Vehicle Motion Cues, with appearance options on supported iOS versions. NoMo is an optional app with three cue styles, its own settings, Comfort Audio and ride feedback. See the practical differences.
Can I use NoMo while using another app?
Yes, using Picture-in-Picture. Start a ride in NoMo and choose Picture-in-Picture to keep a small cue window in view. Window behavior and availability depend on iOS and your device. See how it works.
Is a weekly subscription required?
No. NoMo offers both a weekly subscription and a lifetime one-time purchase. Check the app for current local prices, included features and any available offers. Explore membership options.
What do the Child and Elderly modes change?
They are display presets. Child adds more dots; Elderly uses larger dots and a red cue color. These presets do not establish medical suitability or proven effectiveness for a particular age group. A parent or caregiver should supervise a child’s use.
Can Siri start NoMo?
You can ask Siri to open NoMo. Start the ride inside the app; opening NoMo with Siri does not automatically begin a session.
Will NoMo work for everyone?
No outcome is guaranteed. People respond differently to visual motion cues. NoMo is not a medical treatment. If you feel worse, stop using the screen; seek medical advice for persistent or severe symptoms.
Can I use it while driving?
No. NoMo is for passengers. Do not use it while driving or operating a vehicle.
